TKH acted as Mercy planning consultant, working with a portable structures fabricator to design a temporary field hospital.  The field hospital was a 30,000 square foot facility that included 46 inpatient beds, a 14 bay ED and was docked to mobile OR’s and imaging trailers.  The portable structure consisted of a tube steel frame with panelized walls and roof.  The project which took 3 months to complete began June 1, 2011.
