Due to increasing volumes and demand on the Emergency Department at SBLH, TKH was engaged to provide volume analysis/projections, programming and schematic design for expansion of this service.  The expansion was achieved by a 14,o00 square foot building addition to the existing 6,000 square foot Emergency Department which increased the number of treatment rooms from 11 to 25.  Also included was the relocation and expansion of the Ambulance Garage connected to the Emergency Addition.
