The TKH has had a long term working relationship with individual hospitals within the system and a successful working relationship with the Southern Illinois Healthcare System since its inception. The system is comprised of three hospitals, a freestanding outpatient center and several freestanding medical office buildings throughout southern Illinois.  TKH is currently conducting a facility master plan focusing on future needs relating to projected growth with respect of the strategic vision of the system.  Health care reform has lead the development of the strategic vision and when appropriate, consolidation of services is planned.  Services being investigated include diagnostic imaging, pre-surgical interviewing, surgical services, endoscopy services and cancer treatment.
