Surgery Renovations
Chesterfield, MO
Size: 19,000 square feet
Managing Principal: Steve Hartke
Key Personnel: Jim Frechman, Facility Planner/Programmer
As part of an ongoing multi-phased renovation project, which also necessitated the relocation of the Main Clinical Lab, the Surgery department is being renovated to improve the experience for ambulatory surgical patients as well as increase staffing efficiency by relocating the formerly remote Same Day Surgery component to be adjacent and contiguous with the main Surgery area. The 19,000 square foot project area includes 45 new private Prep and Recovery Rooms along with the relocation of the Surgical PACU and 3 OR’s. One of the 3 OR’s and it’s related support space is specialized for the premier IVF service provided at St. Luke’s Hospital. TKH provided programming, schematic design and program management services for this project.
